Women Writing Letters June 10, 2012

Gailey Road held its fourth Women Writing Letters fundraising event on June 10, 2012. The theme for this event was “A Letter to My Nemesis.” A nemesis is “something that a person cannot conquer, achieve.”

Our warm thanks to the panelists for sharing their letters and demonstrating that even the process of exploring who or what we cannot overcome is an achievement in itself.

TERRI FAVRO, Comic Book and Fiction Writer
JANET LOOKER, Historical Fiction Writer
MARY ELLEN MACLEAN, Theatre Artist
TRACEY ERIN SMITH, Playwright
ELAINE SMOOKLER, Cabaret Performer

The next WWL will be on Sunday, October 28, 2012. Theme: A Letter to God (which will be hosted in collaboration with City Shul)

All the best, Grace Pak (Gailey Road Intern 2012-2013)
